Hello my name is Eddie and I am the second youngest of 3 brothers and a sister. I was born in Limerick, in the backdrop shadow of King John's castle on the banks of the Shannon river. I began working as a taxi driver back in 2007 before going on to doing tours back in 2019. I am a very proud Limerick man, very passionate of my city and more so of my country. I adore showing off the majestic beauty of the Emerald Isle. I also manage my own traditional/folk music band. I started out managing our group which had zero followers on social media originally, to now having currently over 31, 000, going from doing one or two gigs a month to three and four gigs a week! I mention this because I always try to incorporate/treat my clients to some private live music sessions on particular tours where possible! I am a professional SPSV licensed driver. I also manage an Irish folk group where I organise anything from small gigs in a pub to running our own festivals. I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside any of the historical sites/monuments.

On this experience, we'll be approaching the peninsula via the impressive Conor Pass, allowing ample time at viewing stops along the route. Besides visiting Dingle town, you'll also enjoy the views of Dingle Bay and the panorama of the Blasket Center viewing platform. We'll be passing by Slea Head drive too, which is considered by many photographic magazines as the most beautiful peninsula in the world. We'll also be covering the 4000 year old Beehive Huts, one of the filming locations of the Star Wars saga (The Last Jedi), and of course the now world famous Hold a Baby Lamb and the sleeping giant, which are must see attractions on route. I will also be sharing the folklore surrounding Peddlers lake with you! On a personal note, my family and I used to holiday a lot in Dingle during my childhood. Ever since I was a child and to this very day, while I drive up over Connors pass I still get that feel as if it's my first time seeing it. The scenery here is just fantastic.
·Begin your day with a pick up from your accommodation, from where we'll set off for the heritage town of Adare. ·Then we'll be on our way towards Connors pass, stopping for a photo opportunity in a place which in my opinion has the most majestic views. ·Next we'll drive into Dingle, where we'll stop to explore the small town and its bay area. ·Later, we'll set off for Slea head drive. ·Heading from there, we'll proceed through Dun Chaoin and Baile an Fheirtearaigh. ·Onwards, the road winds around through Gaelic speaking Corca Dhuibhne, beginning at Ventry beach. ·Next we'll reach Dunquin with amazing views of the great Blasket Island and the Sleeping Giant. ·Afterwards, we'll visit the Ballyferriter village where we'll we stop to have lunch (optionally) before heading back for your accommodation. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
