Unesco Rice Terrace and Temple Tour

My husband and I had an excellent tour with Ketut! We learned so much about Indonesia and specifically Bali as well as the Hindu religion. Our ship arrived just before a national holiday which meant that there were several temple parades happening around town, so we had been warned repeatedly onboard about doing private tours since traffic would be a major potential problem. Ketut was aware of these issues and not only allowed us to change our tour time to 1/2 hour earlier at the last minute but got us back in plenty of time to make our all-aboard time. We saw everything promised in the tour write up plus had a wonderful buffet lunch. We would highly recommend signing up with Ketut for your Bali shore excursion. He proved to be dependable, very knowledgeable and eager to share many of his personal experiences.

I cannot speak highly enough of how great Ketut was! So kind, so knowledgeable, and so great to spend the day with. We only wish we had more time to enjoy his beautiful island together. We had a great day with Ketuk and his son Didi visiting the magnificent Ulan Danu temple on the Shores of beautiful lake Bratan. Despite being delayed by very heavy holiday traffic they ensured that we enjoyed the stunning Unesco rice terraces and were able to feed the monkeys in the lake district. Spending time with Ketuk and Didi talking about life on Bali was every bit as enjoyable as seeing the very beautiful island.

Ketut was a wonderful guide who really went out of his way to provide us with a fantastic day. Having a separate driver was a definite plus so that Ketut could concentrate on telling us all about Bali history and culture. We loved the Ulun Danu temple complex as well as the Jatiluwih rice fields. We finished with a great Indonesian buffet lunch overlooking the rice fields. What a special day. Highly recommend.

Ketut was a wonderful tour guide. We enjoyed understanding more about the local Balinese culture and traditions. He was very flexible and happy to accommodate special requests. Fully personalised tour and quick to respond to any questions. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great time in Bali.

We were very pleased with our tour and driver (to include his daughter) both were extremely knowledgeable totally fun to be with. We even hired the daughter to take us to the cruise ship the following day.
