Our guide, Nyoman, and our driver, Kadek, we're absolutely phenomenal. Both were absolutely needed. If you've never visited Bali, you'll see the narrow roads, and tons of car, truck, and scooter traffic would make it impossible for a guide to drive and narrate a tour. Kadek was such a calm, safe, and courteous driver. Nyoman is warm, friendly, and knows everything about his island and its culture and shares it all with you. The tour was much, much more than the Ubud Classic. We were very happy we had booked an entire day with Nyoman b/c it gave us an opportunity to speak with him about Balinese history, family structure, and how the island has evolved from a mostly agrarian economy to one supported, and reliant on, tourism. He was so open about the benefits this has brought, but also what has changed in Balinese culture because of it. Without reservation, book with Nyoman.
