I grew up in a small village Sukawati, a village that has many traditional events and festivals so from a very young age I already enjoyed getting involved in the traditions with my family and parents, and that even encouraged me to gain more knowledge about the tradition and culture of Bali. So I graduated from Triatmajaya University of Hospitality and Tourism and now I enjoy my time of being a tour guide and driver since 2015, showing my home to many people from all parts of the world. I really like this job, it gives me so much joy, positive energy, and positive vibes that affect me strongly because I always meet happy people with nice and beautiful smiles from all over the world. Dewa is a legend, highly recommend to anyone. Punctual, happy, informative, great communication, careful driver, as well as great host with drinks and snacks. He helped us plan our wish list knowing all of the places and timings needed, even alternative options. We had a the most fantastic day and it was our privilege to share his passion for Bali. Dewa was fantastic! He was before the meeting time to pick us up and was patient to wait us to clear out from the ship. The car was clean, in very good condition and he had cold water and even local treats for us! 🙏🏼 He showed us beautiful places, amazing temples and gave us a wonderful class of the Hindu religion and even took us to a ceremony and explained in detail. Dewa was our guide for my wife and I for two days in Bali. On this day he picked us when we had to check out of our hotel, took us sightseeing and the drop us off at the airport. We had communicated prior to arriving in Bali about what we wanted to see and he did a great job about taking us to see the sight we suggested as well as making suggestions of his own. He has a great command of English, has a comfortable air conditioned SUV,and we would recommend Dewa to anyone wanting to use a private guide.
We spent a great day with Dewa. He customized his tour according to our needs and gave us a lot of information about Bali. He also gave a lot of insights into his own life as a Balinese and his family. He picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel on time in a comfortable car with drinks included. He also lovingly looked after my 8-year-old daughter. She was very happy. I can highly recommend a tour with Dewa and we will do something else with him in Bali soon.
Dewa and I established an itinerary a few months before the trip. It was a full day and he made some excellent suggestions for things to do. A good driver, he was patient and always willing to let us take the time to explore. We learned much about Bali in our day tour with him.
