This is an exclusive tour, visiting some public and a private attraction depicting this important part of Guernsey's history. I will meet you either at your hotel or at the tender pier where we will start our amazing adventure. Our first stop will be at the German Underground Hospital, the largest fortification in the Channel Islands! A short drive will then take us to the German Occupation Museum, a private museum which I consider the best in Guernsey, and my guests tell me one of the best museums they have visited around the world. We will then continue through the countryside to a private WWll fortification (either Batterie Mirus or Batterie Scharnhorst), where you will be provided with exclusive access to one of these sites. This will be a truly one of a kind experience. From here we will continue along the west coast, viewing some of the best beaches on the island, before turning inland and back to St Peter Port
We loved our WWII tour with Amanda. She is very passionate about the history of Guernsey and it comes through in her tour. The underground hospital and WWII museum were very interesting sites. She also took us to a private bunker and we were blown away by the size and how the restoration team is bringing it back. Amanda also made an extra stop for us to get some Guernsey ice cream. It was delicious!!
Wow, Amanda was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable on all of Guernsey, especially the World War Two history. She was very polite, friendly and made sure we went to all the places we had outlined before the tour. Thank you for a wonderful day on your island.

My husband and I booked this tour not knowing what to expect. This tour far exceeded anything we could have hoped for on our vacation. Amanda was waiting for us with our transportation when we got off the boat and began our journey. She took us to a privately owned WWII site, the Occupation Hospital, a museum with artifacts from the island, the Little Chapel, and various stunning locations on the island to get a good feel for area. I would recommend her tours to anyone visiting the island!! Awesome tour!!
