Fredericia; private walking tour in the old town

Some years back I was working in this fascinating toen. Now our daughter lives in Fredericia, and we have together walked kilometres on top of the ramparts overlooking the town. Don't be frightened of a walking tour; our daughter has got rheumatism and still walks the ramparts! In Fredercia you dock very close to the town centre. Our walking tour will give you a good feeling of liver, before and now, in a fortified garrison town. On our walking tour we pass building, squares and statues describing the varied history of this planned garrison town from mid 1600'ds. From the founding, the settling of Jews in the town, via the wars in the 1800'ds to present day. You will se canons and mortars stand proudly on the ramparts, and also see the White Tower (Det Hvide Vandtårn), one of the town's icons. We visit the town museum with several houses depicting the history of Fredericia if time and opening hours allow this.
