Tesla was a genius, a great inventor and almost everybody knows about his inventions but when it comes to his private life, many things are still unknown. Not so many people know that he had an uncle who did his military service here in Varazdin. He visited him after his speech to the City Council in Zagreb in1892. On his second and last visit Croatia and stayed for two days. What did they do? We know from his private letters sent to his uncle later what they talked about, ate, drank. The funny thing was that after that, he kept asking his uncle to send him wine that had been grown in his uncle's vineyard. Discover this interesting story with me. Taste the wine Tesla wanted so desperately, eat what he ate. Visit the places he visited, things he was impressed by and find out about Varazdin at that time.
