Overview of your Bucaramanga tour
The Chicamocha National Park also known as ''Panachi'' is located in the heart of the Chicamocha Canyon. The canyon itself is more than 200 km long and from its hightest peak down to the river approx 2000 mts deep. The main attraction is the cable car that goes 1200 mts down along the canyon and ends up on the other side of it. (durantion of the cable car ride is 30 minutes) The theme park combines cultural and historical elements and offers adventurous activities such as zip lining, virtual reality, a water-park and other things. Panachi is divided into three parts. The lower part at the cable car station depicts Barichara town. In the middle there is a monument which represents the Revolution of the comuneros (The first step of the Colombian Independence) and in the final section there is a 360-degree viewpoint of the Canyon. Your Bucaramanga tour itinerary
It is recommended to start the day trip at 7:30 am and the day trip usually ends in the evening. However if you wish to start the tour later, I will be flexible and adapt the tour to your desired schedule. After you are picked up at the hotel, we will start the ride to the park. We have to take the road to la mesa de los santos ( touristic area), from there we will take the cable car that goes down the canyon and ends up on the other side of it. (the ride takes 30 minutes) Once we get to the park we will have a walk through it and there will be other activities to enjoy (buggies, paraglading. . etc) I am sure you will definitely enjoy all the stunning scenery that canyon offers us. * Drop off at the Hotel / Airport * Mondays and Tuesdays the Park is CLOSED
