Highlights in Suzhou Day-Trip

Visit a world culture heritage, Lingering Garden to see its incredible arrangement of space. Then go the Tiger Hill, learn the history about Wu and Yue, 2 kingdoms' blood and revenge story, know why there is a sword pond there, and why there is leaning pagoda on top of the hill. Authentic lunch, eat like locals, try the dumplings or noodle soup in a great local restaurant. Then go to a water village, called "Tongli", have a gondola ride for 25 minutes, going along the water alley, arched bridges, and serene community like Venice, afterward, visit Retreat and Reflection Garden, another world cultural heritage site, to see its amazing layout. Then get some free time to explore in the local alleys to do little window shopping or some local snacks, like ginger candy, etc.
