Highlights in Suzhou Day-Trip

Our group had Chinese only and English only speakers and David's ability to convey the Chinese garden and Tiger Hill's historical context and artistic designs in English and Chinese captivated us for the whole day. We also had a very enjoyable boat ride and tour in Tongli. We were impressed by the varied content of the 1 day tour that David curated. We were in a bit of a pickle when the usual lunch place closed for the day to celebrate their 25th anniversary, but David quickly came up with another spot that served Suzhou style noodles with seasonal vegetables and other delicacies. Also worth noting was David had an comfortable and eco friendly EV. My husband was very impressed with the drive and park assist features :) He was also patient with my 3-year-old son.

David Y is definitely one of the best guides we have encountered during our world travels. From arranging our port to Suzhou private transportation, to showing us more than we expected of Suzhou (major sights plus so many "locals" sights), to making sure we got on our bullet train return to port ride, David Y did not disappoint. His knowledge was amazing. His pacing was perfect. His spoke perfect english and even provided "whispers and earbuds" which we did not expect. A true professional! We enjoyed the local delicacies and culture. I will definitely use his services again and will not hesitate referring his services to friends and family.

David is extremely knowledgeable on Chinese culture and history in the context of the places that we visited. He is punctual, efficient and very affable. Importantly he was very patient with our numerous questions n requests. We really appreciate that. His pace was just right. Despite the rain during our tour, we still enjoyed ourselves. I attribute it to David as he has such calming effect with the way he guide us through the gardens n the hills. And he is very thoughtful. He came prepared with headsets so that we won't miss out any of his anecdotes amidst the cackles n noise fr other tourists. I highly recommend him especially if you need someone with great command of English and Chinese!
