Hello! My name is Aubrey - a licensed tour guide and a certified UNESCO Cultural Heritage Specialist Guide (Macau), specialized in providing private tours in Macau. Born and brought up in Hong Kong, I went to University of Macau for my tertiary education. Apart from obtaining a bachelor degree, I met my wife here as well. Shortly after we are married, we moved to Canada. And in order to take care of our aging parents, we moved back. I worked in Hong Kong, Canada, China and Macau with people from different cultures. The exposure helps me to communicate and get along well with people. Currently, I am also helping out as a local (Macau) research assistant for the Egalitarianism Project hosted by the University of Bergen under Professor Bruce Kapferer. To be a licensed tour guide, I was trained for 180 hours and passed four written exams and a practical exam. Separate language ability exams were taken too. Hoping to provide the best service to visitors, I took a special course of "Cultural Heritage Interpretation for World Heritage Sites". Recently, I finished the research paper and passed the practical exam to become certified Cultural Heritage Specialist Guide for UNESCO World Heritage Site (Macau). I am more than happy to share with you everything I know about the city and make your trip a memorable one. Can't wait to come and explore Macau with me?
