I'm a chilean, that was born in Santiago. After working as a mechanic technician at the airpot, I decide to work in tourism, because I realy enjoy to talk with people from another countries and cultures. What I do is to let them know the wounderful land that we have, in terms of knowledge teaching them about history, archeology, flora, fauna and architecture. As Chile is a wine producing country I manage a vast knowledge about different wine valleys, wineries and also the whole process of making one of the best wines of the world. The Maipo Valley is one of the most recognized wine regions in Chile that has earned its reputation for being the cradle of excellent and well-known red wines. Its vineyards are privileged with a mild Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters. The region has eastern vineyards located in the foothills of the Andes and western vineyards that extend to the sandy soils of the Coastal Cordillera. (optinal) Here I suggest you only do a tasting by the glass of the iconic wines of Emiliana, Concha y Toro and Almaviva.
