Overview of your Pucon tour
We are going to visit a big cormorants colony near Puerto Saavedra, starting in Temuco, we arrive to the colony in almost 2 hours drive. The birdwatching begins after we pass Puerto Saavedra, along the road we can see many species, seagulls, oystercatcher, great egret, and many others. We have the chance to visit Lake Budi, a salt water lake were we can watch many diferent birds, including the black-necked swan. In the colony, we're going the see the Lile cormorant (Phalacrocorax gaimardii), a beautiful endemic specie, that nests in the high cliffs by the coast. The tour it's mostly "in car", so it's very light. The birdwatching will be along we drive around. Only in the cormorant colony we have to walk to get closer to see de birds, but it's very easy walk.
