Iorana, my name is Patricia and I will be your tour guide on Easter Island! Easter island or Rapa Nui as it is named by the locals, has such a rich Polynesian culture and history that touring with an experienced guide is a must. We pride ourselves in being part of an ancestral culture that is still alive, the sacred energy of the ancestors still being present on every corner of this island, in its people, its landscapes and the ocean. I am a certified local guide with fifteen years of experience. I lived in Australia for ten years and finished my studies there, so I am a fluent English speaker. My speciality are private tours. My training began as an assistant guide to leading archaeologists where I learned about the archaeology and anthropology of Easter island in-depth. Having been raised on the island I have the background information on oral tradition and everyday island living. I am also a mother, I love cycling and water activities so I try to get out and practice as much as possible. This island has beautiful weather so that's always a possibility. I have a fun and easygoing personality and I love my job so I try to pass on all that passion to each and every one of my clients! If you will only be on Easter island for one complete day, this is the full day experience for you, with plenty of history and photo apportunities. Together we will visit the most important archeological sites of the island, the absolutely must see!!! As local guide with over 20 years of experience, you will receive all historic accounts, also spiced up with the local oral history and the modern day events.
Patricia has terrific English. She is passionate, has enormous depth of knowledge and understanding and is great company. It made the tour a wonderful experience. She knows the best time to visit each site to avoid larger groups and the best spots for photos. She was a delight to travel with. We learned so much and would highly recommend Patricia.
Patrizia is an outstanding tour guide with a very deep fund of knowledge about the history of Rapa Nui and a passion sharing her expertise with her clients. On the second day of my tour, she took me to beautiful Moai platforms, the only 2 white sand beaches including one where very few tourists go, and a fantastic lunch where we shared our life stories and ambitions and laughed quite a lot. In the afternoon, we visited the topknot quarry where one sees a spectacular rock garden on a lush green lawn. At the top of the site, one gets a beautiful panoramic view of Hangaroa. Patricia tailored her private your for us factoring in how the time of day and weather might affect our experience, which I appreciated. Our last stop was to see the 7 warrior Moai statues that face the sea, the only ones that do not face inland. She recounted why they face outwards…. Patrizia is sensational!

If you want the best tour of Rapa Nui, then Patricia is your person! She is amazing, took us everywhere in her air conditioned vehicle. She made sure we see everything and made unplanned stops whenever we wanted to take pictures. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Her English is perfect which made it super convenient to understand all the history and landmarks. The last stop was the beach where we took a dip and it was the cherry on top after an eventful day. Very respectful and well knowledged person. Highly recommend!

First time visit to Rapa Nui so wanted to see the main sites and this did not disappoint. Patricia is so knowledgable and gives you lots of fascinating information about the island . Perfect to have a private guide rather than join a big group as so much better going at our own pace ! Highly recommend this tour and Patricia
The tour begins with pick up at the hotel. We begin visiting Tahai cremonial complex including the only statue (moai) with eyes on the island. We continue across the island to the Moai quarry Rano Raraku where there are still 400 moai in different stages of carving. We continue to Ahu Tongariki, the largest ceremonial platform of the island with 15 restored statues. We continue to Anakena, the only sandy beach on the island. We the cross the island to Rano kau, the largest crater on the island with a fresh water lagoon on its inside, a magnificent panoramic view. We finish the tour at Orongo ceremonial village and talk about the legend of th Birdman ceremony. Return to the hotel.

Transportation will be in a suv vehicle, brand Mitsubishi, year 2024 with maximum capacity for seven people comfortably, clean, with full air conditioning. In each site walking is required generally in grassy or areas with stones so good comfortable walking shoes are recommended, walking sticks if you need the support as well.
