After a career teaching science and math, I embarked on my journey to share my love and knowledge of Niagara Falls with visitors as a tour guide. I have been guiding tours in the Niagara Region in the US and Canada for over 30 years, and I usually do at least 1 tour every day, typically with plenty of walking regardless of using a vehicle as well. I often have people with walking disabilities on tour, which is not a problem for me since everything I propose doing is also handicap accessible. The rich history of the Mighty Niagara, as well as hidden gems like regional foods and local favourites, offer our visitors truly wonderful experiences and memories. After years of guiding large groups, I grew to prefer private tours where I can focus on a personalized experience at your way and at your pace. From the war of 1812, area folklore and legends, the history of hydro power and the Underground Railroad are topics I can discuss in depth or as highlights along the tour.

Feel the roar & vibration of standing behind a waterfall, witness some of the most beautiful gardens on earth & visit an elite Horticulture School that only admits a dozen students yearly (1 from each Canadian province), who'd then work at the Taj Mahal or the Buckingham Palace. We'll visit a Flower Clock too, with 25.000 hand planted shrubs & seasonal designs that chimes exactly like the Big Ben. You'd also be able to enter a butterfly conservatory to see some of the world's largest butterflies (12-14 inches in wingspan). As a trained photographer, I'd gladly capture some picture perfect moments. At one point of the tour you'll even be able to step in a foot deep into the Niagara lower rapids' 45 mile long water flow. Remember that for this tour you must have a valid passport to enter Canada; some may require a visa & this cannot be obtained in site, so don't book unless you can enter. Aside from this, don't worry about the rest. I've been here well over 100 times, so you're in good hands.
·If you're not using transportation of your own, we'll first get to the WEGO Station to get bus shuttle tickets. ·We'll then drive through Victoria Park until reaching our first stop there: Table Rock, only place in Canada where it's possible to stand next to Horseshoe Falls for a close-up look. ·Here you can opt to do the Canadian side's most popular attraction: The Journey Behind the Falls, which unlocks access to an elevator ride down to the bottom of Horseshoe Falls as well as to a tunnel that goes behind them, with 2 viewing points to see the biggest flow of water in the region. ·The following stop will be above an open gorge, where we'll stand by a railing enjoying a cliff's side view of the Niagara Rapids (among the world's biggest). ·Our next stop will be the School of Horticulture, where we'll walk in & see 200 acres of beautiful gardens. ·Typically our last stop before returning would be by the world's biggest Flower Clock, from where we'll also get to see a cliff side view of the falls.

Our standard transportation would be the Niagara Falls' WEGO Bus shuttle that can hold approximately 60 people inside. Alternatively, I'd be glad to join you in your own vehicle.
333 Prospect Street, Niagara Falls, New York, 14303, United States
We could meet at the Hard Rock Cafe in Prospect Street (American Side) from where we'll cross the rainbow bridge and walk through immigration together, entering Canada. Alternatively, we could gather directly at the Canadian side, where I'd be happy to meet you in the intersection of Falls Ave & Clifton Hill, directly in front of rainbow bridge, by the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel.
