Hello! My name is Delphine, I am a licensed National Tour Guide for Cameroon since 2008. I will be happy to have you on my tours in the City of Yaounde and its environs. I can also accompany you to the Northern and South regions of the Country for Safari photos in Wildlife National Parks, for beach Holidays and coastal discoveries and also for cultural tours in traditional Kingdoms and museums in the Western Regions of Cameroon. I am happy and smiling always and thus, I love when people are truly happy, It brings me joy, inner satisfaction and real fulfilment. My strongholds are Spirituality, Discipline and Integrity, which guide and help me in achieving my goals. Yaounde is a city, popularly known as 'A City of Seven Hills' like Jerusalem. It has plenty of attractions with a relatively cool climate compared to that of the other Regions of Cameroon. Maximum temperatures vary from 30 to 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum is about 15. It is the Headquarter of the Centre region of Cameroon, the Administrative Headquarter of Cameroon and hosts very important International Institutions and Organisations. Our Country is Bilingual, officially comprised of French and English speaking population with about more than 250 ethnics groups. In the heart of the City, there is a haven of greenery to seat on and relax, gaze at the beauty of flowers while breathing in their fragrance from the comfort of a public bench. Here, you can find also natural endowments, eco-therapeutic sites, picturesque view like caves, rivers, waterfalls, mountains. The city is also a cradle of Christianity mostly Catholicism as can be seen from the numerous places of worships and prayers (the minor Basilica, the Cathedral, Sanctuaries, grottos and other sites). There are in the city other Protestants and Moslems strongholds too. We have many different activities you can participate, like sport fishing, swimming, canoe/boat paddle, local fabrication of pots, golf, weight lifting, tennis, beach cruise. Or, if you wish, I just get you to spend some time with the locals so that you can learn their favourite cuisine, customs and traditions. I am so passionate about my job as a tour guide and will put all my effort to give you the best experience. I will show places of great importance and share information about the ethnocultural, historical and religious heritage. Just help me understand your interests and I will create the right tour for you! Let me also know whether you have restrictions for meals, vegetarian, mild dishes or spicy dishes. Thank you. *Professional first degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from the University of Yaounde 1, in 16/07/2008, with specialisation as National Tour Guide. * Obtained a license as a National Tour Guide issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure in 25/10/2010. * Participated with other professionals and the partners of Tourism Industry in many training workshops, organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure like 'Conception of Tourism products', 'technics of welcoming tourists, hygiene, quality services and Tourists security'. * I am a member of the Association of Tour Guides of Cameroon.
