5 hours Douala Private City Tour

I enjoyed my tour of Douala with Celestine. He was courteous, knowledgable and reliable. The one feedback I offered was that it would be worthwhile to include a visit to the excellent Maritime Museum in the Douala city tour. I visited that museum on my own and found it to be the best part of learning about Douala and the history of Cameroon. Part of Celestine’s current tour included some extra driving to sights just outside the city in a more industrial/commercial area that would not rank high for touristic interest. A more complete tour would include more time to walk around in town, and the addition of the Museum. That said, Celestine has told me that he has now included the Museum in his city tour, so the next visitors should get an excellent introduction to Douala with Celestine on this tour.

Celestine is an outstanding guide. He is prompt, understanding and most accommodating. If you visit Cameroon, this is the guide you want. He goes out of his way to insure you have a safe, comfortable and engaging experience. As a long time traveler, I know how important a guide is to your trip, so I recommend him most highly.

Celestine did a fantastic job for our film project in Douala. He went above and beyond to arrange a safe location and recruit people from his church to participate in our project. He was professional with a can-do attitude. We greatly appreciate all of his efforts and we had a wonderful experience.
