For example, I participated as a guide in the national official program of the 51st Session of the Regional Commission for Africa World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), in the Regional Programme tourism development at the meeting of the Federation of Unions of Interstate travel agencies from West and Central Africa, and by moving with WAEMUS's experts during their missions through Western Africa. I am very well versed in all of West Africa. I have organized many tours in the Dogon country in Mali, and various circuits in Niger and Mauritania. On the 30th of September 2012 I was the first guide to receive a Certificate of Merit issued by the Ministry of Burkina and mali in charge of Tourism. I would like to invite you to discover with me the various countries of West Africa. I am fluent in French and English, and have an advanced level in German. At the moment I am currently working for UN as a temporary language assistant, interpreter/translator and I am also a freelance interpreter, translator and language editor. In this two days tour that I am going to give you the privellege to discover one of the most beautifull and intereting city of Burkina Faso, Banfora. We will explore the history and its traditions with its 19th century symbolic adobe mosque in sudanese archetecture style. We will visit the cosmopolitan west african central market of Bobo Dioulasso. Just after that we will head towards to Banfora's marvellous city for more exploration of Bobo Dioulasso' s beautifull natural surroundings. Join me as I show you around Banfora, the most breathtaking area of Burkina.
Your Bobo Dioulasso tour itinerary
Day 1: Visit the oldest neighborhood in town, the market and the Sudanese style mosque in the morning. departure for Banfora. Visit the Karfiguéla falls - depending on the time of year bathing is possible in the upper basins - and continue on foot or by car to the nearby Dômes de Fabedougou. Enjoy sunset from the rock formation. Day 2: Banfora - lake Tangela (10km) - Sindou peak (50km) Early morning wake up call. Board a traditional wooden fishing boat for a sunrise trip on Lake Tengréla near Banfora to go hippo spotting. Visit the sacred baobab and enjoy breakfast on the lakeside. Continue to Sindou to visit the Sindou Peaks and Sindou village. In former times the peaks were inhabited.
