Hello my name is Dean, I am a native of the Island of Bermuda. My family has been on island from the beginning. They arrived on the actual ship that was originally shipwrecked here in 1609 that settled and founded the Island. I Have enjoyed showing visitors my Island home for more than 14 years . I loved to show them the off the beaten paths and hidden gems that are not known and to speak of the history not written in the history books. I really enjoy to pass on the knowledge of all the many different edible plants and flowers found through out the island that most locals do not know about. I try to make my experinces interesting , informative and interactive. I also try to help our visitors to experience my country the way I have my entire life. Join us on this amazing excursion in which we will traverse through this 12 acre nature reserve as we walk through lush forest trails, explore subterranean caves, discover amazing rock formations as we venture pass mangroves and various forms of wild life. If feeling adventurous we can swim in the natural swimming grottos like the famous blue hole after experiencing various unique flora and fauna found in this beautiful archipelago. Next we will travel to the Cooper's Island Nature reserve to hike through one of Bermuda's most pristine and picturesque natural attractions. We will experience an unspoiled park and beautiful pink sand beaches connected to extensive walking trails in the midst of stunning cliff views of this peaceful reserve where possibly we can experience bird watching and turtle spotting.
This tour took us to less developed areas of Bermuda that we had not seen on previous visits here. Dean took us to multiple stops, gave facts and anecdotes along the way, answered all our questions, and knew plants and nature facts. Many tour guides talk constantly but Dean gave us quiet time in the van to enjoy the scenery of this beautiful island … a real plus! We were two grandparents with 3 teenagers and all give it a three thumbs-up! 👍👍👍

Dean Grant is a marvelous tour guide. Our first trip with him was to the Tom Moore Jungle, where we peeked into caves to admire the stalactites/stalagmites, ate Surinam cherries off the bush, saw dreamy blue lagoons, and learned lots of Bermuda history. Dean’s knowledge of plants/flowers is encyclopedic and accurate – we tested him with the Picture This app! He is entertaining and energetic and his excitement about Bermuda is contagious. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
We had a wonderful time with Dean. Took us to places we didn’t even know we needed to see. He was so informative about the island and its history. I would recommend Dean to anyone going to Bermuda!!

Our tour with Dean was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the island and the flora and fauna. We had a lot of fun exploring Tom's Jungle and Cooper's Island reserve. Highly recommend!
