Hi, I'm Elsy, born and raised in this small but nice country Belgium which has a lot to offer: history, art, nature, and of course also a great culinary experience. Since a couple of years, I'm really passionate about guiding in the city of Leuven, a wonderful place in Belgium. From Brussels, you can reach the center of Leuven by train in less then 20 minutes. Overview of your Leuven tour
You will discover Leuven as the medieval city. The beautiful townhall, The St Peterschurch, the university with her old buildings and of course the grand beguinage. No doubt that in Leuven they also like the good things of life such as the typical Belgium food and drinks. During the tour, you will have the posibility to taste the typical fine meat products of Leuven, the french fries (which are Belgium of course) and the home-town produced beer of Stella Artois ending with our delicious chocolates. In this tour, you have to use all your senses and just enjoy life !
Your Leuven tour itinerary
-We'll visit the medieval center of Leuven, including the townhall, the St. Pieterschurch, and the old colleges of the 590-year old university. T -The knocking heart of Leuven, being the Old Market Place with the Kotmadam is also a real nice area. -One of the highlights is the grand beguinage from the 13th century. -A little bit of war history includes the library of the university. -During our tour, you get the possibility to taste the French fries in the way we eat them, drink a Stella Artois in a local glass as we drink it, and of course, our delicious chocolates can't fail. The necessary information goes with the food. -A nice tour cheered up with the typical food and drinks from Leuven! Sure you'll enjoy this tour ! Please note that the french fries are not possible between 14pm and 17pm and will be replaced by a Belgian waffle.
