Our tour, ‘Capture the best of Antigua’ with Ted M was the best tour of Antigua that you will find. Ted’s personality was joyful and his knowledge of the history was very informative. We toured St. John’s market and learned about many of the local foods. His description of the ‘Pepper Pot’ as a popular dish was very interesting. Our tour of the sugar cane properties and grinding mills is a ‘must see’. Ted discussed many of the local plants and their medicinal/everyday uses. We visited the UNESCO Heritage site of Shirley’s Heights and the Nelson Dockyard where huge sailboats awed us with their size. Throughout the trip, ‘Uncle Ted’ (as he was called by most of the locals) shared his life experiences and remarkable appreciation for life. This is a MUST tour for learning about the people and island of Antigua.
