Ted did an amazing job Showing us Saint John’s. We enjoyed seeing the food market and purchasing a local hot sauce. We also tasted some local fruits. The food at the Rasta shop was fun. We were there on Ash Wednesday and he told us about the Rastas celebrating Lent, which was interesting. Everywhere we went locals greeted him. We wanted to experience a local lunch, we got an amazing lunch served out of a lady’s home. This tour was well worth the price.
We booked a trip with Ted M. (known throughout the Island as "Uncle Ted" & had a great time. He was asked to include several specific tour locations and did not disappoint. These included a leisurely walk around ALL the grounds at Nelson's Dockyard, (where we were treated like royalty), & a very nice quiet beach with a small restaurant, beach chairs & umbrellas. In addition, Ted stopped at many local spots including the Island's market & local roadside food stops to enjoy true Antigua cuisine. Ted was extremely knowledgeable about the Island's history, vegetation, (stopping often to see and explain the use of medicinal plants), geography, and multiple other tidbits. We can and do recommend Ted to anyone who truly wants to see Antigua through a lifelong resident's eyes. As everyone on the Island would agree, thank you Uncle Ted. We have memories that will live with us forever.
Fantastic day with Ted. Everyone knows him. Comfortable clean AC car. He told us all about the culture of the island, growing up there, and showed us the native plants and foods. We saw basically the entire island. Good careful driver, and great with our kids engaging them etc. I enthusiastically recommend Ted to anyone who wants to experience Antigua in full.

Ted delivered what was promised and more. My wife and I especially appreciated getting a taste, in more than one sense, of what life is like for the people of Antigua. We not only saw standard tourist sites such as Nelson’s Dockyard and Fort Shirley, but the market where Antiguans shop and the villages where they live.
