Hello! My name is Abdel Laca, and I’m an experienced tour guide offering customized private tours. My passion for sharing the rich heritage of Africa—especially Angola—is what inspired me to become a guide. Whenever I travel and explore cities around the world, I always learn more when I’m accompanied by a local. That insight drives how I work: I strive to be that helpful, welcoming local who makes your visit truly meaningful. I believe every visitor to Angola deserves a warm welcome and an authentic experience—and that’s exactly what I aim to provide. I’m deeply passionate about travel, history, nature, and art. I love being in the wild, discovering new places, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. My love for travel began when I was a young boy exploring with my grandparents. They taught me that the journey itself is the destination, and every adventure is a chance to create lasting memories and friendships. As an Angolan-Mozambican native, I’m incredibly proud of my country. I began guiding at 22 during my final year of college while studying Human Resources Management. I’ve worked in different offices, led my own projects, and when the opportunity to become a guide arose, I knew it was the right path—one that truly matched my passion. I hope you’ll come visit Angola and leave with unforgettable experiences and memories. I’d be honored to show you around. Graduate in Human Resources Management at Universidade Lusiada de Angola. Post-Graduate in Psychology at Universidade Catolica de Angola Diplôme d'études en langue française (DELF) B2 par Alliance Française. Deutschschüler am Goethe-Institut, Niveau A2.

Uíge Province is one of Angola's most important cultural regions and the historic heartland of the Bakongo people. For centuries, this area has been a center of Bakongo culture, language, and traditions, playing an important role in the history of Central Africa. Before modern borders existed, the Bakongo were part of the powerful Kingdom of Kongo, which connected communities across present-day Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Republic of Congo. Uíge was one of the regions where this rich heritage flourished. Today, the province remains a stronghold of Bakongo identity. Visitors can experience local traditions, hear the Kikongo language, visit vibrant markets, and learn about customs that have been preserved for generations.
