I was born and raised in Algiers, and I’m passionate about sharing my city and my country with travelers from around the world. I speak 6 languages fluently, including Chinese — a language I originally learned as a personal challenge! My passion for languages, cultures and travel has taken me to 180+ countries, giving me a truly international perspective and allowing me to connect easily with travelers from all kinds of backgrounds. I’m naturally open-minded, easy-going, flexible and curious, and I adapt easily to different travel styles — from budget backpackers to families, couples and luxury travelers looking for a more personalized experience. I graduated as valedictorian from the Department of Translation and Interpreting in Algiers in 2012, with a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting. After graduation, I gained several years of international professional experience working overseas for multinational companies. The more I traveled, the more I realized that many people around the world knew very little about Algeria — or sometimes had misconceptions about it. In 2018, I decided to start offering tours in Algiers, with the goal of showing visitors the real Algeria: its history, architecture, culture, food, people, everyday life and hidden gems. What started as a passion eventually became my full-time profession. I left the corporate world to dedicate myself entirely to tourism and to helping travelers discover Algeria in a way that is authentic, enjoyable, flexible and personalized. Whether you want to explore the historic Casbah, discover the streets and landmarks of central Algiers, admire the city's architecture, taste local food, take great photographs, or get away from the usual tourist route, I’ll be happy to help you experience Algiers from a local's perspective. I can also help you customize your itinerary according to your interests, schedule, budget and travel style. Most importantly, I want you to feel that you are exploring Algeria with a local friend rather than simply following a tour guide. We will be going on a day trip fifty-five miles west of Algiers, the capital city of Algeria, the charming seaport town of Cherchell has a history dating back to 1500 BC, there are plenty of monuments and archeological ruins scattered throughout the town and surroundings that bear testimony to Cherchell's long and fascinating history, Right after , we will be driving to the Tipaza where you will be able to enjoy grilled fish for lunch right by the port , afterwards will be making our way to visit the archaeological site which represents an extraordinary mix of Phoenician, Roman, early Christian, and Byzantine ruins beautifully set overlooking the Mediterranean, and finally visit the Royal Mauritanian Mausoleum before driving back to Algiers.

A perfect tour to get familiar with 2 of the world heritage sights, Wassim is an outstanding tour guide, we learned a lot about history, culture, food and the daily life in Algeria. Everything was well organised, he recommended a lot of places/ restaurants which made our stay even more convenient. He made as feel very welcome in this beautiful country.
