I am a language enthusiast and I speak 6 languages fluently, including Chinese which basically was a self-challenge. I am deeply passionate about travels and so far I have visited 140+ countries , which I believe has helped me to become the person I am today. I consider myself to be open-minded, easy-going, flexible and understanding. This allows me to adapt to any kind of travelling styles from backpacker on budget to luxurious travellers. I graduated as a valedictorian from Algiers Translation and Interpreting department in 2012, I have acquired a very rich experience overseas working for multinational companies and the more I travelled the more I realized many people did not know much about my country. So I decided to start offering tours in 2018 to give Algeria its proper and accurate image to the world, it is such an enjoyable work that I have quit my corporate world job to be a full time tour guide and show travelers the most popular spots of my city and country as well as the hidden gems. We will be going on a day trip fifty-five miles west of Algiers, the capital city of Algeria, the charming seaport town of Cherchell has a history dating back to 1500 BC, there are plenty of monuments and archeological ruins scattered throughout the town and surroundings that bear testimony to Cherchell's long and fascinating history, Right after , we will be driving to the Tipaza where you will be able to enjoy grilled fish for lunch right by the port , afterwards will be making our way to visit the archaeological site which represents an extraordinary mix of Phoenician, Roman, early Christian, and Byzantine ruins beautifully set overlooking the Mediterranean, and finally visit the Royal Mauritanian Mausoleum before driving back to Algiers.
This was a great day out with Wassim who was very knowledgeable and also had a great personality. He was helpful and took care of all our needs. He also had a good sense of humour whichbwas an added plus. I definitely would recommend him to anyone. Thank
A perfect tour to get familiar with 2 of the world heritage sights, Wassim is an outstanding tour guide, we learned a lot about history, culture, food and the daily life in Algeria. Everything was well organised, he recommended a lot of places/ restaurants which made our stay even more convenient. He made as feel very welcome in this beautiful country.
