Hello, I’m Talel – a licensed tour guide based in Mahdia, Tunisia, guiding since 1997. After many years leading large group tours, I’ve shifted my focus to smaller, more meaningful travel experiences. I now specialize in private, tailor-made tours that bring out the heart of my region—with no rush, no crowds, and plenty of authentic local flavor. Mahdia and the surrounding area are still off the beaten path for many visitors, but they offer some of Tunisia’s most unique cultural and historical treasures. With my deep local knowledge and over two decades of experience, I aim to share these stories in a personal and comfortable way. I’ve also built strong relationships with local drivers and travel partners, and I offer private transportation (insured and fully tour-compliant) as part of the experience—no need to worry about logistics. I chose to focus on smaller tours because I believe travel should be about connection, not crowds. This is a personal journey for me—after years of group tourism, I now look for a better balance in life, and to offer visitors something more peaceful and genuine. I do not run shore excursions (there are no cruise docks here), and I do not operate in other cities—I focus exclusively on Mahdia and the Sousse-Monastir region, where I truly know the land, the people, and the stories.
