Let's explore The Slaughters, Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the World and Bourton on the Water!

We will go off the beaten track and visit the picturesque and famous villages of
Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stow on the World, Moreton in Marsh and Bourton on the Water.
The Cotswolds is an area of outstanding natural beauty and the countryside and pretty villages remained mainly untouched by the industrial revolution. Sheep farming and the wool trade brought prosperity to the area in days gone by and it has it's own charm. We will go to sleepy Lower Slaughter which is very pretty and has the River Windrush running through it with pretty little bridges. This is a small village and the only shop is the Mill which sells unusual gifts. If it is a Tuesday we will visit Moreton in the Marsh for the Market. If not we will go to Chipping Campden instead.
Then onto Stow on the World with is an ancient square and you can explore at your leisure. There are some lovely pubs for lunch or tea. It has a pretty church and plenty of shops.
Our final stop is at Bourton on the Water, the Venice of the Cotswold
