Kharkiv Highlights walking tour: The Seven Wonders

More than 350 years ago, in 1654 AD, Kharkiv was founded. Presently, Kharkiv is the second largest city of Ukraine, a major cultural, scientific, educational, transport and industrial centre of Ukraine, with numerous museums, theatres and libraries, including the Annunciation and Dormition Cathedrals, the Derzhprom building in Freedom Square, and the National University of Kharkiv. Kharkiv was a host city for UEFA Euro 2012. Kharkiv's climate is humid continental (Köppen climate classification Dfb) with cold, snowy winters and dry and hot summers. We suggest a walking tour around Kharkiv city centre, which will let you see the most famous architectural monuments of different ages, and hear their stories. We start in XVII-th century, near first stone building of Kharkiv, and in about 2 hours, after walking through central street and big city park, we finish in the beginning of XXI-st century, near mini-skyscraper made of glass.
