Hello, I’m Nigel, a proud Trinidadian who genuinely enjoys meeting people, building new friendships and sharing the warmth of my country. I have always been a people person, and some of my greatest joys come from good conversation, discovering new places and helping others experience the culture, food, scenery and everyday life that make Trinidad so special. My professional background in customer service, sales, operations and business development has taken me throughout Trinidad and other parts of the Caribbean, allowing me to meet people from many different backgrounds. After moving away from full-time corporate employment, I decided to dedicate more time to what comes naturally to me: connecting with people, sharing experiences and helping visitors feel comfortable and welcomed. Having travelled extensively throughout Trinidad, I can offer much more than transportation between popular attractions. I enjoy sharing the stories, communities and local flavours found beyond the usual tourist path. From the architecture and lively character of Port of Spain to the cultural landmarks of Central Trinidad, the peaceful landscapes of Chaguaramas and the scenic beauty of the North Coast, I create flexible experiences based on each traveller’s interests, pace and available time. Overview of your Port Of Spain tour
Escape the city and experience Trinidad’s North Coast on a private shore excursion designed around scenery, sea air and local flavour. After pickup in Port of Spain, travel through the lush Northern Range along the winding North Coast Road. We will pause at safe scenic lookouts for photos of forested hills and the Caribbean Sea before arriving at Maracas Beach, one of Trinidad’s most loved coastal destinations. At Maracas, enjoy time to relax on the sand, take a stroll or swim if conditions are suitable. You can also buy a local bake and shark or another beachside meal and discover the flavours that make this coast special. The pace is yours. We can allow more time at the beach or make extra photo stops when conditions permit. Please tell me about any mobility needs or special requests. For cruise guests, I will plan the return around the ship’s departure time; weather, traffic and sea conditions may change the order of stops.
Your Port Of Spain tour itinerary
- Pickup: Meet at the Port of Spain cruise terminal, hotel or another agreed location. Confirm your preferred pace and, for cruise guests, your ship’s departure time. - Northern Range: Travel along the North Coast Road through lush mountain scenery. Enjoy commentary on Trinidad’s landscape and communities. - Scenic lookouts: Stop at safe viewpoints for photographs of the coastline, forested hills and Caribbean Sea, subject to weather and road conditions. - Maracas Beach: Spend unhurried time enjoying the beach. Swim only if conditions are suitable and follow local safety guidance; swimming is optional and unsupervised. - Local lunch: Choose from beachside vendors and purchase bake and shark or another meal that suits your tastes. Food is not included. - Return: Travel back through the Northern Range to the cruise terminal, hotel or agreed drop-off point. Stops and timing may change with traffic, weather or your interests; cruise schedules take priority.
