I cannot recommend Auntie Wana highly enough. Spending the day exploring Bangkok with her was one of the most memorable parts of my entire trip. From the moment we met, it was clear that auntie isn’t just a guide, she’s someone who genuinely cares about the people she meets. She has an incredible knowledge of Bangkok, its history, culture, and hidden corners, and she seems to know everyone everywhere we went. Every stop came with fascinating stories, local insight, and little details you simply wouldn’t discover on your own. What really stood out to me, though, was her kindness and generosity. I had a small issue with my card during the day and was worried about cash, and auntie Wana immediately stepped in and paid for things without hesitation. She simply smiled and said, “Don’t worry, karma will come back. You can come back next year with your family.” That moment said everything about her character. She embodies the warmth and compassion that people often associate with the Buddhist spirit. Being guided by her felt less like a tour and more like being shown around the city by a thoughtful family who truly loves where she lives. If you want to see Bangkok through the eyes of someone who knows it deeply and cares about sharing it with you, auntie Wana is the person to go with. I would recommend her to anyone visiting the city. Thank you, auntie. I will absolutely be back.
