Ayutthaya-tour

Jean was great. On time and showed us the ancient city. Lots of amazing sights to see. If you love looking at Buddha’s great tour.

Jean is great Guide with a lot of knowledge , it was a fun and complete tour!

We spent a fantastic day exploring the restored summer palace, ruins of the old royal palace that housed more than 1000 Buddha statues and finished off at a 600 year old monastery. Jean displayed an encyclopedic knowledge of these sites and readily communicated the important characteristics of each site while also placing each one in historical context. She readily adapted to our preferences and adjusted the schedule on the fly to suit our interests. Transportation from our hotel was via luxury minivan and Jean had lots of water and chilled refresher towels to keep the heat at bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jean. She was very knowledgeable and visiting Ayutthaya was one of the highlights of our first trip to Thailand. Riding in a luxury touring van was a bonus.

JANE was GREAT- we had a wonderful time - she was able to help with our food concerns (celiac) and share a great deal of detail on the sights but also be flexible with us and the heat and the enthusiasm and changing interests of our 13 and 11 year olds. Very knowledgeable and GREAT car!

Jean was an excellent tour guide, making sure we saw the gems of Ayutthaya. The driver was also excellent, getting us to places safely and up close, and the van was comfortable for 8 of us with great A/C and cold water (and some throat lozenges were also offered up!) Jean's English was excellent and we learned so much from her! She kindly answered all of our questions. Her suggestion to take the boat back to Bangkok was fabulous! She monitored the weather to make sure it was a good choice. We had a nice buffet lunch and enjoyed the riverside and skyline views as we sailed back to the city. The van met us at the dock to take us back to the hotel. Highly recommend touring with Jean when in Bangkok!
