Exclusive day tour of Malmo, Lund and Skaane regions of Sweden

Our tour through Malmö, Lund, and Copenhagen was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our incredible guide! Each city brought its own unique charm, and our guide brought it all to life with fascinating stories, a wealth of knowledge, and the right balance of humor and insight. In Malmö and Lund, we explored hidden corners, historic streets, and learned about the academic spirit of Lund’s university town. Along the way we were treated to tales of Danish royalty, the grandeur of the city, and a deeper understanding of its culture. What made this experience truly stand out were the stories of the Vikings—woven throughout the trip in a way that made history feel alive and relevant. Our guide painted vivid pictures of the past, connecting legends and historical facts with the landscapes we were seeing. It wasn’t just sightseeing; it was time traveling. The tour is highly recommended!

This was our 3rd and final tour with Ivan through the Swedish countryside, to Markaryd moose/animal park and to Sonderaasen National Park and Gorge, along with a couple of additional stops along the way. As with the first 2 tours, Ivan provided a wealth of information and, successfully did all in his power to ensure an amazing experience for each family member. Ivan gave us an excellent, personalized tour, from our ship at Copenhagen across the bridge to Skane County (Skania) Sweden, to visit the area my great-grandparents were born, and lived before they emigrated to the USA. We visited the village my great-grandfather was born in. My sister and her husband traveled with me, in Ivan's very comfortable air-conditioned van. I had sent some genealogy information Ivan last year including maps, and he used that information to plan a route that would include the area we had interest in. Along the way he provided much knowledgeable information about other historic sites along the way. Ivan is very friendly and entertaining, as well as giving insight into the local background. On our return to Copenhagen we had time to see a few famous sites and he even worked in a "special surprise" for us. Very accommodating host, excellent experience.

Ivan is an amazing guide! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with him exploring parts of Sweden and Copenhagen. He is not only knowledgeable and provides wonderful detail, he picks the perfect places to see and things to do while making the visits fun and very interesting. He is great conversationalist and I felt like we were old friends by the end of the day. My daughter (18) - who can be quite skeptical at times - said our time with Ivan was her favorite part of our week trip to Northern Europe. She especially loved Lund. I highly recommend this tour and Ivan.
