As a native Sri Lankan, born and raised in the southern region, I am a passionate young tour guide with a deep desire to become an iconic inbound tour operator in our beautiful island nation, Sri Lanka. With over a decade of experience in the tourism industry, I have established a remarkable track record in guiding international tourists and creating tour itineraries that go beyond expectations. My journey into the world of tourism began with my academic pursuits. I studied hospitality, travel, and tourism management at the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management. In addition to that, I furthered my knowledge by obtaining a second bachelor's degree in international politics and a postgraduate diploma in diplomacy and international relations from the Open University of Sri Lanka. These educational achievements have empowered me to have a significant impact on Sri Lanka's tourism industry. Beyond my academic endeavors, I have had the privilege of working closely with the Sri Lankan government as a youth ambassador. This has provided me with incredible opportunities to represent Sri Lanka on the global stage, including prestigious events such as the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, SWY28 Japan, Commonwealth Youth Forums, World Youth Conferences, and United Nations volunteer programs. These experiences have broadened my horizons and enriched my understanding of different cultures, further enhancing my ability to offer a unique and authentic experience to travelers. With a passion for cricket, martial arts, adventures, arts, drama, music, digital content creation, entrepreneurship, and books, I bring a diverse range of interests and expertise to my role as a tour guide. My six years of experience in guiding international tourists both within Sri Lanka and across the globe have honed my skills in curating unforgettable journeys.
