Gyeongju UNESCO heritage 1day tour

Our group had a wonderful day with BK in Gyeongju. BK was prompt, well spoken, knowlegeable about all the sights, patient, fun to be with and a master of parking. I would highly recommend BK as a guide!!

We had an unforgettable day exploring Gyeongju with our private guide, BK J. He picked us up at our hotel and took us to Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The temple was stunning and peaceful, and the forest walk to the grotto was beautiful. We then enjoyed a delicious traditional Korean lunch with Mushroom Pajeon, soft tofu and mushroom soup, an amazing selection of banchans, and Makgeolli. BK had thoughtfully asked about our food preferences beforehand, which made the experience even more enjoyable. In the afternoon, we visited the Daereungwon Royal Tombs, Gyeongju National Museum, the magnificent Bell of King Seongdeok, Woljeonggyo Bridge, and Gyochon Village. BK was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. His stories brought Gyeongju’s history, Korean culture, architecture, and craftsmanship to life. We were especially fascinated by the incredible engineering behind the ancient monuments and the 20-tonne bell. A truly memorable day and a wonderful way to discover Gyeongju. We highly recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Gyeongju who wants to experience its UNESCO heritage, history, culture, and incredible craftsmanship with a knowledgeable and caring guide! BK was a fabulous tour guide, his depth of knowledge of the area and the sights was impressive. He was thorough and made sure that we had enough time at each stop. Our sons ( 18 and 20 years of age) were also engaged and found BK fun and likable. He was courteous, kind and made sure we had a tour to remember. We highly recommend BK!

Bk had very good knowledge of the history of where Guengjou fit in history and also regarding the more recent exploration of the area. Also good at explaining and very helpful so we packed a lot into the day. Highly recommended.
