Hello! My name is Nebojša. I am sure that you would like to know something about me before you book the tour so here is my short introduction. As a dedicated father of three beautiful daughters I realize that love and passion are most important in my life. Because of that I paste those values to my job. Those two things are main characteristics of every tour I make and every time when I'm walking through the heart of Novi Sad, tasting vine in medieval Sremski Karlovci or just sitting on the Holy mountain of Fruška Gora, I'm trying to give that feeling to my guests. I have been living in Novi Sad for the last 37 years and I'm still in love with it. As a local guide that loves his city so much, gone through all life episodes in this Serbian Athens, I am always willing to share the knowledge and experience, to show best places to eat, drink, sleep, relax, enjoy, to laugh, to listen and to meet new people. But I was born in Subotica, small town in the north, so it would be unfair not to mention my hometown, center of secession in this part of Balkan peninsula. I spent some really great moments over there and "city on the sand" is always pulling me back to show to the people what Subotica have to offer. But wherever I go I am giving my 100% for my guests to be pleased and pleasantly surprised. So, I am welcoming you to be my guest and to explore Novi Sad and Serbia together. If you decide to join adventure with me, I am available to customize the tour according to your request. Do you know the feeling of being part of something so old and important for understanding the place where are you standing? Visiting some of the 17 orthodox monasteries of Fruška Gora will make the exactly same impact on your perception of this region. The history of those small hills of the third Holy mountain in the world is extremely rich, a little bit complicated and amazingly interesting. It is the last resting place for so many important people of this, let's say, central Europe part of the Balkan peninsula. Also, it was the place where some really important decisions about the destiny of entire Europe were brought. And when you step into town of towers, a town with such a rich history, Sremski Karlovci, you can feel like "Walk in baroque". And Bermet? Ever heard about it? Your Novi Sad tour itinerary
-After we meet at our previously arranged location, we will drive for the next half an hour through the National park of Fruska Gora. After a beautiful landscape, we arrive at our first destination, a place where you can understand the Serbian orthodox church. Quiet place, far away from the crowd, Velika Remeta Monastery. - Then, we are heading towards the second monastery, the prime one. It is a mausoleum, the last home for kings, queens, archbishops, and one duke. The former seat of Serbs in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Everything else I will tell you on tour. - Third one, Grgeteg. Maybe you can't pronounce it but you will be able to express your impressions about it. - Lunch in tipycal Vojvodina salaš (farm). - Sremski Karlovci, a small cozy town, made mostly in baroque, heart of Serbian education. . . and home of viticulture. I will take you to taste some great wine. - We are coming back in the late afternoon, using a different road, so enough time for a good dinner.
