Hello there. I am Ciprian, a 39 years old man from Tulcea(Romania) - the gate to the Danube Delta. I am a passionate wildlife fotographer that enjoys the nature and the nature. Together with my father we own a business doing tours in the Danube Delta - a unique place in Europe. I have around 12 years of experience as a guide in the Danube Delta. I love being out in the nature, listening to the "silence" of the Danube Delta, admiring the scenery and learn new things about our bird life. Tulcea, is a small city in Romania, near the Black Sea ~ 70 kms away. In our area we have the oldest mountains of Europe, with a highest peak of only 462 m tall. The Danube Delta represents the natural border with Ucraine on the northern channel - Chilia. Tulcea is very famous for the Danube Delta - a unique place in Europe, a Unesco world heritage. ~ 230 species of birds nest in this wonderful place. I offer different types of tours in the Danube Delta and I am also available to customize the tour to your needs or desires. I try to offer memories, not just a simply tour. Visiting trip to Village Mila23 in the heart of the Danube Delta and Sulina - where the Danube Ends
Overview of your Tulcea tour
This is a nice tour in order to see a nice part of the Danube Delta. We enjoy ~2hours cruising in the channels and lakes of the Danube Delta. Spend 30mins - 1h in an authentic village in the middle of the Danube Delta - village Mila23 - return back to Tulcea. Optional we can arrange for a traditional lunch of fish in a local guesthouse. From here we depart to see the end of the Danube: - natural exit in the gulf of Musura - cargo boat exit - can be done if the weather allows us and there are not big waves. I will require full names of the passengers in order to take the admission tickets to the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve. (This experience is seasonal and only available during mid March to November. )

- Tulcea - Big channel Tulcea - channel Mila36 - channel Sireasa - channel Sontea - area of lake Mester - area of Lake Alb - lake Nebunu - area of lake Martin - area Cot Candura - area of Lake Baclanesti - area of lake Furtuna - channel Sontea - channel Olguta - old side of the Danube - village Mila23 Stop to explore the village (alone or accompanied) and also possible to serve a traditional lunch of fish in a local guesthouse) We continue our tour as it follows: - old side of the Danube - channel Sulina - Sulina where we have two options: 1. Double at all time - Musura Gulf(Bay) - see the natural exit of the Danube into the Black Sea 2. Go all the way to the Black Sea - can be done if the weather is nice and not big waves - stop in Sulina for aprox 2h - exploring the area and beach. - old side of the Danube - channel Sulina - Channel Tulcea( see channel Tulcea splits in channel Sulina and channel Saint George) - Tulcea. Please note that the wildlife cannot be guaranteed, but the tour can be customized!
