Lahore 3-day city tour - from Islamabad

With this tour we will explore the beautiful city of Lahore. On the way, I will show you the Rohtas fort and brick kiln and experience some local life. We will spend time in the narrow alleyways of the old city including the largest medieval mosque in the world, the awesome Badshahi mosque. We will visit the Shalimar Gardens, the Lahore museum, Wazir Khan mosque, Shahi Hamam, Lahore Fort and Jahangir tomb. To give you the best experience, I will bring you also outside of Lahore, getting a taste of Punjabi rural life. We will not miss at Wagah (the Indian border) the daily flag ceremony. Huge crowds gather to watch the Indian and Pakistani border guards lower their flags. Being a local, I will make sure that you will witness the best of our culture, traditions and history. Day 01: - Depart for Lahore on the old GT road (5-6 hours driving). We will stop at Rohtas fort, Brick kiln and also for lunch. - We will have some street food for dinner and then enjoy an amazing night view of Lahore Royal mosque. Day 02: - Lahore royal mosque and Lahore fort visit (2 hours). - Delhi gate, Royal Hamam, Wazir Khan mosque (2 hours). - Lunch break. - Lahore Museum visit (1 hour). - Sufi shrine (2 hours). Then, we drop you at your hotel for little rest. - We will pick you for dinner in the evening. Day 3: - Jehangir Sirayee, Jehangir tomb visit (2 hours). We will see the real Punjabi culture in the area. - Shalimar Garden, street dentist and bone setter in Lahore (2 hours). - Lunch break. - Wagah border ceremony done by the Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers, organised every day since 1959. - Drop off to your hotel in Lahore and end of the tour. *The tour is customisable, can be extended and end in a different location.
