Although I'm new to this platform, I have been guiding hundreds of travellers for almost a decade and I’ve had the joy of curating one-of-a-kind experiences for visitors from all over the world. My passion for travel, cultural exchange, and human connection is what makes me continue doing this work. I truly love sharing the beauty of Japan, its traditions, hidden gems, and modern wonders. My journey living in Japan for almost 30 years has been filled with incredible experiences, from working in luxury hospitality and event production for many years. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and people. Becoming a guide was a natural step, it allows me to connect with people from all over the world, share my insider knowledge, and make every traveler’s experience as smooth, exciting, and meaningful as possible. I studied the Japanese tea ceremony under a master Sensei, where I learned how cultural arts like kimono dressing, calligraphy, and Ikebana (flower arranging) are interconnected. Now, I continue my studies in kimono dressing to better share this beautiful tradition with visitors. If you're interested in off-the-beaten-path experiences, I also love exploring hidden villages, rural retreats, and scenic landscapes that most tourists never get to see. As a food lover and wellness advocate, I enjoy sharing Japan’s incredible food scene, from Michelin-starred dining and sushi-making experiences to hidden vegan cafés and organic farm-to-table restaurants. My past work in the hospitality and restaurant industry has given me access and connections to some of the best dining spots in Tokyo and beyond. If you’re curious about Tokyo’s nightlife and entertainment scene, I have a background in event production, DJing, and fashion, which keeps me updated on the new hotspots, hidden speakeasies, and exclusive entertainment experiences. And lastly, I have a podcast show that I host weekly which means I truly love storytelling and it's one way I share my lived experiences here in Japan.
