Hello there! This is Antonella, a Venetian born and raised travel and culture addicted tour guide and tour leader. When in Venice I don't offer only the factual information clients expect but also a cultural context that creates a more rewarding experience. I sense the kind of guest in front of me and adapt in no time delivering a tailor-made tour. When I don't lead/guide I act as an active member of a theatre company. My passion for theatre is very useful for my profession as I never "lecture" my guests: I actually engage them. When I don't act I write, obviously about travel! I live in Venice since I landed here for university studies. Later, I never wanted to leave the city, which I love deep down, if not to travel the world, of which I feel a citizen. I love my job because it allows me to combine passion for foreign languages and for this incredible city, with history, art, architecture, food (get ready for some gourmet tours!) and for theatre which, as a matter of fact, in Venice is a long-time tradition. -Government certified tour guide license issued by the Province of Modena (Italy) -Government certified tour leader license issued by the Province of Venice (Italy) -Port of Venice permit of access issued by the Venitian Port Authority (Italy) -Wine tasting Advisor issued by Onav and EBT (Italy) -Master in journalism at the Scuola di Giornalismo A.Chiodi (Venice, Italy) -Master in non profit economics; major in history of microcredit at the University of Ferrara (CARID) -Degree in economics of tourism; major in marketing re-launch of a Tout Operator at Ca' Foscari University of Venice No restrictions at all. I am a fully licenced tour leader and tour guide

Feel the atmosphere of everyday busy yet-very-local life in Cannaregio district. This whole area is very dear to me as it's where I used to live. Let's explore it together and you will see how thrilling it is to get away from the busiest spots just by taking one different alley. Learn about the world's first Jewish quarter and its amazing history. See the world first skyscrapers. I dare you to spot the hidden ancient synagogues!
-The itinerary will wind through streets, bridges and small squares from your hotel (if in Rialto or railway area otherwise we will set a different pick up) to the northernmost district of Cannaregio and then to the quaint small area of Ghetto. -You will learn all my secrets about the world's first officially recognized Jewish settlement with its rules and every-lively-day life in a tolerant and cosmopolitan 16th century Venice. -Strolling through Cannaregio area I will show you the real city where locals shop for food at small open air markets or take a break with a "spritz" (before-meals cocktail) and a "cicheto" (typical Venitian tapa). -According to the meeting point most suitable for you we can approach the area either from east or west but not to worry: you won't miss a thing!
