Weekend in Venice and were lucky enough to have Riccardo with us as our guide for the late night version of Venice (an amazing experience) and then again pretty much all day with us on Saturday. First of all: Riccardo’s knowledge about Venice- from a historical viewpoint as well as a more modern sense- is AMAZING. He left no stone unturned as we traversed this magical place. Besides being a historical encyclopedia, he’s also friendly, warm, charming, and lots of fun to be with. We found Ourselves reaching out to him after hours for a recommendations and suggestions about various things and he was more than happy to oblige us at any moment. He made The whole Venice experience really very special and We can’t wait to go back and see him again and learn more about this magical city.

When we are traveling, we always try to find something special and different in our tours and excursions. We certainly found it with Riccardo's Night Photography tour. My husband is the photographer. Other than a Samsung s24 smart phone I don't even own a camera, but I thought I'd tag along as official tripod carrier. Riccardo showed me how I could create incredible night photos with what I equated to a Kodak Disposable. He has a whole series of locations that are particularly photographic, but for us seniors he rearranged the itinerary so that we ended the adventure close to our hotel. Take this tour and you will be rewarded with not just techniques on how to get the most from your camera but also some really great photos of an evening in Venice.
Riccardo is an expert photographer and gave our group a wonderful class in proper camera and iPhone photo techniques. We learned so much! An added bonus was a photo session at the bridge in Venice where the scenes in Mission Impossible were filmed.
