I'm a so happy to present myself - I'm a licensed guide in Venice and especially I'm local… yes I'm a local Venetian who was born and lived in this unique city for 29 years. Now I live in a city nearby only 20 min by bus but my heart is still in Venice. I have the history degree from Ca'Foscary the university in Venice and I'm offering my knowledge with simplicity and fun to tourists enjoying them a lot. I love this guide work and it's a big honor to explain with passion and love Venice to tourists, I like to do tours in the main areas such as San Mark's square and its beauties as doge's palace and San Mark's basilica but I can guide in other "hidden" and not usual places from Rialto to Marco Polo's area where he was born and lived. I can show to you the Jewish ghetto and other interesting places in this unique city. Venice is so different from other cities in the world and you will like for sure and during my tours I will show to you these with all my passion and you will feel inside of you. So now i'm waiting for your bookings for one of my tours, you can choose and you will like and enjoy with me. Alessandro is waiting for you. Thanks a lot! I've a history degree from Ca'Foscari university; I'm a licensed guide in Venice. I’m not a taxi driver. I do especially walking tours in Venice. I have a lot of contacts of taxi drivers in Venice anyway

In this tour I will show different areas apart from the main crowded ones and we will enter inside the places where still today you can feel the emotions to see where the Jewish community raised up and grew through the centuries form the XVI century. When I was a child I usually went to buy the typical Jewish biscuits and cakes in the bakeries in the ghetto, they are sold still today and you can buy them, yummy! Walking in Cannaregio (one of the venetian districts) is so nice because you can meet a lot of locals and you can feel the real Venice in the fondamenta dei Ormesini, with a lot of nice baccari where especially on the weekends I come back with friends meeting them between a glass of wine and a very good cicchetto. What can I say about Madonna dell'orto church and the area nearby you will see by yourselves it's an unique place with art, history and especially peace. I will show to you Rialto crossed the grand canal by traghetto gondola.
- We will start from the famous jewish ghetto of Venice of the XVI century, I will show to you the area where during the republic of Venice this important community grew up with their traditions and culture. We can visit the synagogues - After always walking we will enter in the popular and residential area of venetian people and we will stop in a nice "baccaro" to taste the tipical cicchetti (pieces of bread with fish, eggs or vegetables) and a very good glass of red or white wine. - Then I will show the area of madonna dell'orto, where you will visit the famous church and see unique Tintoretto's paintings and where he is buried. - After we will walk to an area to take a gondola and crossing the grand canal we will arrive to Rialto. - There I will show to you the famous market area and the beautiful bridge of the XVI century standing on the grand canal. - We will cross the bridge and end with a nice view on the grand canal with unique pics
