Hello there! This is Antonella, a Venetian born and raised travel and culture addicted tour guide and tour leader. When in Venice I don't offer only the factual information clients expect but also a cultural context that creates a more rewarding experience. My passion for theatre is very useful for my profession as I never "lecture" my guests: I actually engage them. When I don't act I write, obviously about travel! I live in Venice since I landed here for university studies. Later, I never wanted to leave the city, which I love deep down, if not to travel the world, of which I feel a citizen. This is a must if it's your first time in Venice. You'll get your boundaries right and grow more confident about the maze of Venice wandering through it's major, but not all tourist, sights, I promise. What's really rewarding as a local guide is for me to convey the essence of this incredible city so that you can experience it with my eyes and not as a fast tourist, even if you have little time. We'll make the most of it.
Antonella was great! Very well-informed and having been raised in Venice, she knows every alley & shortcut. The tour was interesting, informative, took us to the key parts of the city, provided great historic perspective, and was enjoyable to be with. We recommend her without hesitation.
At first we thought we could navigate Venice on our own….we are so glad we didn’t go that route, and found Antonella…I I still can’t believe we saw everything we wanted to see and had time for a quick lunch. Antonella was the perfect guide. We highly recommend.
