- We will do a small archeological tour of the Farm, over 10. 000 years of history. - We will collect fresh vegetables from the organic garden and learn all about our rare seeds collection and strategies for growing vegatebles. - We will visit the Pantry and wine cellar (unlimited wine supply for our guests) , and learn all about different way to conserve food. - We will clean, cut and prepare the meal all toghether in a Cooking Class led By Carlo and Jessie the farm owners. - We will mill toghether the Wheat into flour and then make a Ravioli workshop. - We will learn and share the Sicilian tradition of wine toasting, an amazing ceremony to life pass on by our ancestors. - We bring our community at the table, we partner with local award winnig wheat, olive oil and wine producers. - We will have lunch by the river to rest under the shade of majestic trees. - We will dive, swim and enjoy the freshness of this amazing river that pass through our land. The hot weather will be just an old memory.
The farm has been a sacred site for over 2500 years, Archeologists found altars used by Greeks and Romans. We will tour the archological sites located in the farm. We are inside one of the most famous canyon in Sicily touched by this stunning river in which you will have the opportunity to swim and dive We will start by visiting the 1600 years old Organic Vegetable Garden, with a ancient altar and tombs from 6 a. d. , we will visit the derelict water mill under restoration The river diving lagoon make this perfect place for swimming. This important fresh water habitat has been treasured since before the time since many civilisations.
