"Choose a job you love and you will never work one day" (Confucius) Some 25 years ago, I choose to turn my knowledge of Sardinia into my job. Ever since, I've been working as a professional, licensed, tour guide and I wouldn't want to do any other job. To tell you the truth, to me being a tour guide isn't just a job, but a true passion! I enjoy showing my guests around this unique Island, getting them to discover its most hidden treasures. I love sharing my insider and expertise knowledge with them. I have a degree in Sardinia's culture, history, art history; I am bilingual German/Italian and I am totally fluent in English. Below are only some sample tours but Sardinia has much more to offer to any traveler. No matter whether you are a travel agent or a private traveler, whether you are looking for a shore excursion or a tour of the entire Island, just send me an e-mail and I will customize our tour to exactly your expectations. Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself: hallo there, I'm Gabriela F! PLEASE, CLICK 'ASK A QUESTION' AND MESSAGE ME TO CHECK AVAILABILITY BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION. With a surface area of 109 square kilometres, Sant'Antioco is the fourth largest Italian island. It is connected to the mainland across a lagoon by a 3 kilometer long artificial isthmus of land and a bridge. The first to settle here were the Nuragic people (1, 500 B. C. ) but it was the Phoenicians, who had arrived here in the 8th Century B. C to build Sulki, one of the oldest and largest Phoenician settlements in Sardinia. The ancient Sulki, known today as Sant'Antioco, is of great historical and archaeological interest - you can see a tophet, a Hebrew tablet and a necropolis as well as the medieval church of Sant'Antioco with its catacombs. This tour can be combined with a visit at Chiara Vigo's workshop, the only sea silk weaver master in Europe. Sea silk is made from the Pinna nobilis clam fibers and is finer than silk produced from silkworm cocoons. At Chiara's little museum she will show you the art of producing Byssus textiles. Ausflug zur Insel Sant'Antioco.
We'll meet in the city centre walk to the Punic Tophet and the roman escavations. The most interesting place are the roman catacombs where Saint Antioco was buried. The catacombs are located under the church Sant'Antioco, which dates back to the 7th century a. D. After visiting we'll walk to the byssus museum where I will show you the art of producing Byssus textiles.

This is a walking tour. If you wish to tour the Island and you are not staying in Sant'Antioco I can rent a van or a bus according to the number of participants or, we can use my car (Dacia Sandero Stepway) on payment of a small surcharge.
