Hi, my name is Flavia, I was born and raised in Rome, therefore I'm a true local! I know every corner of this city that I desperately love. I am an official licensed Tour Guide and passionate about sharing the city's most hidden corners through traditional and off the beaten path tours. I graduated in Art History and for years I have been working for a diagnostic laboratory, carrying out scientific researches on paintings and works of art. This is why during my tours it is not unusual to see an X-ray of a painting by Caravaggio or the reconstruction of a painted statue! All I want is to share with you my enthusiasm and passion for my work and for the Eternal City. I love traveling and I know that a touching and unforgettable memory is the best souvenir that you can take away. I can customise my tours according to your requests, so feel free to contact me at any time! •Graduation in Art History at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". •Specialization degree in Diagnostic for Cultural Heritage •Teacher of Art History in high school (years 2014-2017) •Licensed tour guide since 2015, also certified for the Vatican Museums •I have been studying acting for 8 years. If you are looking for something different, perhaps for a special event, I can organize visits with actors or a private concert I am not a driver but I can arrange private transportation with a professional licensed driver. If you don't find the tour you where looking for on my profile, please, feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help you!

Water in ancient Rome was a vital element. With its 11 aqueducts, the city was provided with approximately 1 million cubic meters of water per day. The water was used for drinking, but also for the public fountains and for the wonderful Baths. With this tour we will have the chance to retrace part of the itinerary of the ancient Vergine aqueduct, the same one that feeds the Trevi Fountain and to discover where its remains are still visible in the underground and in the open air. We will have the unique opportunity to visit the archaeological area hidden under the one of the most famous fountain with centuries-old stratification. More than nine meters below the current street level, the archaeological excavations carried out between 1999 and 2001 during the renovation works of the former Cinema Trevi brought to light a building complex from the imperial age which represents a remarkable testimony of the urban fabric of ancient Rome.
