Dear guests, the city of Tivoli is a small village on the hillside of the homonymous hill 45 minutes east of Rome. Back in Roman times, it was very famous because it was the location of the Imperial Residence of Hadrian, the Roman emperor, and also because of travertine quarries. In the Renaissance, Cardinal Ippolito d'Este built a villa that still today is a place of countless visitors, made up by hanging gardens and sloping terraces with hundreds of fountains. Well, you will be guided to discover the remains of Hadrian's villa and the still outstanding beauties of Villa d'Este with the marvelous water games.
