My name is Giuseppe and I am an Official Tour Guide in Rome and Tour Leader in Europe since 2003. I am positive, informative and entertaining. My passion is learning about history and telling stories in an engaging and fun way. As a Geographer I traveled the world and studied the world's dynamics. At some point, I wanted to zoom in and go into details about Rome, the city I live in. Also, I wanted to share stories about my amazing hometown and express my passion and enthusiasm for all thing Roman: scenic views, inspiring artworks, delicious dishes, gorgeous museums. I truly enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds and I still keep all the letters of appreciation I received from travelers all over the world while I worked as a Tour Leader in Europe. I appreciated when they mentioned how much fun they had while traveling and learning. For me, my job means being a part of someone's happiest holiday memories. Eventually all roads lead to… Rome, so there you will find me! Rome Licensed Tour Guide. BA in Geography from the University La Sapienza in Rome, with honors. Tour Leader in Italy and Europe since 2003 I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Discover one of the most important collections of art in the stunning Pamphilj palace, owned by the eponymous family. Raphael, Caravaggio, Bernini and Velasquez await you there. The family still lives in the house and Prince Jonathan shares the treasures that his ancestor Pope Innocent X started collecting four hundred years ago! It's worth to point out that the people working in the Gallery wear a green uniform, the color of the Pamphilj. However, the huge surprise of the place will be the gallery of mirrors resembling that of Versailles with marvellous frescos painted on the ceiling showing the life of Hercules, mythical ancestor of the family. On this tour, you'll learn about Donna Olimpia, the most powerful woman in 17th century Rome - Innocent' sister in law. She was called the female Pope. The family also had a magnificent palace in Piazza Navona. There you'll admire Bernini's four rivers fountain, the most beautiful of the Roman baroque. Your tour wil end with a Spritz in this scenic setting.
Our itinerary would be as follows: - Meet me at the wonderful courtyard of Pamphilj Palace. - Head upstairs to the rooms of the "Roman landscapes" and "Velvets". - Walk through the "Ballet Room" and visit the private Chapel. - Italian, French and Flamish paniters of the '600s will welcome you along the first gallery of the Palace. - Visit Velasquez's Room - Portrait of Pope Innocent X and Bernini's bust of the Pope. - The "Gallery of the Mirrors" and the life of Hercules painted on the ceiling. - Caravaggio's Rooms. - Raphael and '500s painters Room. - Head to Piazza Navona to discover its fountains. - End the visit with a well deserved Spritz. This itinerary can be customized to best fit your preferences!
