Hi there! I'm Barbara, born and raised in Rome, just a few feet from the Vatican City, I love to travel the world and explore different cultures! With a degree in Architecture and a master degree in Historical Building Restoration, I have been studying architecture and art history for all my life, working for several years to the restoration of some of the most prestigious palaces in Rome. We'll walk through the fascinating Galleries of the Candelabra, Tapestries and Maps to reach the amazing Sistine Chapel, the mind-blowing masterpiece of the polyhedral Michelangelo, genial painter, sculptor and architect. Thanks to a special shortcut*, we will get into the largest church in the world, Saint Peter's Basilica, to admire its masterpieces like the Pietà by Michelangelo. *due to religious events St. Peter's basilica might close last-minute without notice, in this case we we will visit another section of the Vatican museums instead of it

There is something about Barbara! One thing is to know your craft, another is to mesmerize as she shared her deep knowledge of Roman history, art and the Vatican. She even gave us the inside scoop on how to see the Pope and we ended up on the first row.
