HALF DAY Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill Private Tour

Visit the most iconic building of Rome with a passionate, licensed guide and real Roman. . . me! After a short introduction of the Colosseum from outside, we will enter the biggest amphitheatre in the world, almost 2000 years old and we will learn how gladiators and exotic animals fought to entertain the demanding Romans. Then we will climb up to the second level and learn how the Emperors decided of the life or death of the losers. After the Colosseum we will enter the Roman Forum from the amazing Triumphal Arch of the Emperor Titus to reach the Palatine Hill, where Rome was founded almost 3000 years ago. We will walk through the Sacred Way, the most important street of the Ancient Rome, inside the political, commercial and civil heart of the Eternal City, where you can imagine how Romans lived their daily life in the most powerful Empire of the western world.
