Ciao! I'm Sabrina, born and raised in Rome, archeologist and qualified guide for Rome! I've been working as an archeologist for 20 years, digging in different places in Rome and outside Rome. A few years ago I started working as a tour guide and it was a revelation for me! I realized that I really love this job! I like passing on my knowledge and at the same time meeting new people and learning from everyone. As an archeologist, I love archeological sites, monuments, buildings or museums where you can "read" the history of this wonderful city . . but I also love strolling through the narrow streets of Rome, where literally every stone can tell us something! I never get tired of taking guided tours, because Rome is truly unforgettable and there is always something to discover! • Degree in Archeology, La Sapienza University, Rome • Master in "musealization, preservation and enhancement of archeological heritage", University of Rome Tor Vergata • Licensed Tour Guide of Rome • Licensed Tour Guide of the Vatican I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Meet me in front of the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo, a monument with nearly two thousand years of history. Originally built as the grand mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian, it evolved over the centuries into a fortress, a papal refuge, a prison, and finally, a museum. We’ll begin in the courtyard and explore the four bastions, where cannons and weapons once defended both the castle and the Pope, who sought shelter here on multiple occasions—most notably during the dramatic Sack of Rome in 1527. Inside, we’ll uncover the ancient burial chamber of Hadrian and the opulent rooms adorned for the papal court in the 16th century. Finally, we’ll climb to the terrace, where breathtaking views stretch over the Eternal City. After this journey through art and history, we’ll cross the iconic bridge and stroll along Via dei Coronari, a charming street once famous for its Renaissance-era shops selling holy souvenirs. Our walk ends in Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most spectacular squares.
We will visit: • Castel Sant'Angelo (fortified walls, inner rooms and upper terrace); • Sant'Angelo bridge; • Via dei Coronari; • Piazza Navona; Dress code. The churches in Rome (including the Pantheon) have strict dress code requirements: dresses/shorts must be knee length and shoulders covered , so bringing zip on attire or scarfs is acceptable. Weather: I run tours rain or shine, and most of my itineraries take place entirely or partially outside. Water, sunscreen and a hat are recommended in summer, as are warm layers in winter. Comfortable shoes are always advised.
