As an archaeologist, local certified tour guide I will make you love every statue and painting! The museum houses an important collection of masterpieces from the Antiquity to the Baroque by artists such as Bernini, Raphael, Caravaggio and Canova. The Gallery, built between 1613 and 1614, is set inside the beautiful Borghese Gardens and was created by the cardinal Scipione Borghese, an important art collector, nephew of the pope Paul V. After this tour you can enjoy a walk trough the Borghese Gardens and go to the Pincio from where you will enjoy a memorable view of the Eternal City.
