Would you like to embark in a journey for your senses on a local market square or on a wine tasting tour on the Euganean hills, just some Km from the city center? Get in touch with me! I would love to show you the hidden gems of Padova and the countryside. After more that 10 years living abroad I came back to my hometown and I realized how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful town. So I started working as tour guide in Veneto and in the Alps. I use to say: "You need to see the world and chose consciously where to live". I chose Padua. I like exploring the nature and combine trekking with cultural sightseeing. I consider my guests my travel fellows, sharing with them my passion for my home country, its nature, arts and culture. Being a linguist, I like teaching my guests the typical Italian idioms and the basic of the Italian language, enriching their experience in Padua with anecdotes and cultural tips. Guida ambientale escursionistica (Licenced tour guide for hiking and biking tours) AT (Accompagnatrice Turistica, Licenced Tour Guide). I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange with your hotel for a separate car and driver. I do not have a license to give tours inside the museums nor in the Cappella degli Scrovegni.

Join me in this tour and let's stroll the city's atmospheric streets, and the medieval places, the second eldest university in Europe where I was a student there for 5 years. Did you know that Galileo Galilei was professor for mathematics and astronomy for 18 years? And that Padua had the first woman graduated in the whole world? Discover traditions, art, culture and some of Italy's most celebrated artists and scientists. Let's learn about the region's wine and food history, anecdotes and legends. For lunch we will try local eateries paired with an authentic spritz, our aperitivo, under the Palazzo della Ragione, the Medieval covered market place. In case of rain, no worries, you can walk for kilometers under the arcades in the city center.
We will meet me at the clock tower in Piazza dei signori, here you'll see the stunning astrological clock tower. Then head to the markets, we have 3 of them: one with fruits and vegetables, one with clothes and the the Medieval covered market place. Visit notable attractions like the University, where Galileo Galiei taught for 18 years. Stroll along the canals to the Tower La Specola, used once as observatory. No visit to Padova is complete without enjoying a real spritz in the market hall under Palazzo della Ragione. Join a local feast with cold cuts, ham, cheeses, and a glass of wine. * This itinerary can be customized to suit your needs and preferences. Feel free to contact me.
